"Absence does make the heart grow fonder," they say. Even though it was a very brief separation it brought the pair back to their senses. They belonged together.
I didn't like the title much. Time must be spent on a good title. Also the story needed a bit of editing.

I liked the characterization of this woman much more than all the other female characters in your stories. Still a few grammatical errors and I felt that there could have been a little more description of the interiority of the characters. I also like it (although this is just an opinion and not a criticism) where references or tangential references are made to other characters/ couples that could serve as parallels and counterpoints. Although I get that the story was short and could not have had too many such subplots, I still believe that they can enrich the story, but again absolutely not necessary.
