Ode to an Infamous Lady

She lies in beauty,
She contemplates the stars,
Murmuring the hymns of life.
She contemplates herself in the water,
Stale and still,
No movement.
She spits on the image,
She now abhors her,
A scorned lady.
...
She thinks of the demons, that
Touched her everywhere,
Demeaned, defamed and threw her on the ground.
She rose up, hollow within,
Mere a mass of flesh and bone,
Dragged her legs all around,
And, came out.
...
She sits beside the small tarn,
And, tries to regain her lost image,
She stirs the water persistently.
But nothing turns up.
She knows she has lost everything,
Her respect, her self-esteem,
But she lives like a mere body,
The corpse of a pure soul.

Brutal but not a lie
by: Ritesh Agarwal

A poem which is painful and brutally realistic....the words are well-chosen since they are comprehensible even to laymen.
The portion where the reader reads the way the victim spits at her image and scorns herself is also quite brutal. It is as if the victim is sentenced to life imprisonment for the felony committed by someone else.

Tale of Suffering
by: Amrit Sinha

Humans are supposedly the most advanced of all species, but how do you explain the exploitation that keeps on happening all around the world. They do not have any reason, or cause, just the evil whims of a few demons and lives turn dark. Do we have any answer to stop all this? And yet we consider ourselves to be intelligent, smart and developed.

A beautiful poem buddy.
