Wow! This was truly awe-inspiring and I loved the way you conveyed a large portion of the narrative through dialogue, which made the story come alive, and gave agency to the characters. I did not like the ending though since the problem that the couple in the story face is a very real one and a more pragmatic ending would have provided a universal solution that would have been accessible to other people who were not fortunate enough to have the same luck. But good job, anyway.
