Shoe Lace

Means the world to me

When you kneel down

And tie them for me

From the time of long ago

And until now that we're grey

You made me feel so special

In your simple, tender ways

You made me see love

That is much more

Grandiose and colourful

Like a rainbow in the mist

And pavo real's plumes

Let me pluck one if I may

Dip it in indigo and gold

In your heart I shall inscribe

These words of love I pledge...

"I shall love thee now
And all the days of my life
With all my heart---
Forever will be yours."
