The Glen

by Anita R. Belagodu
(Bangalore,Karnataka,India)

The glen stares incessantly
At the valley and the mountain
The high ranges and capped visitors
Feeding hungry travelers and stray revelers.

Driving long distances,
To experience fine countryside
The more you have of it
The more you long and thrive for.

Insatiable desire overcomes satiety
Old Drummond, Inverness
Loch Ness monster rises
On the lake and the green pastures.

Leaves an indelible impression
Saves minds pictures, blocks regression.
