What Matters Most

by Isabel Cecilia Pascual
(Manilla, Philippines)

A song I would sing to thee

Under the shades of the night sky

While I gaze at the solitary star

Thinking only of you...

Of a love so real- so pure

With each teardrops

Welling up from my heart

Were the times...

I have missed you the most

Those days spent without you

And many roads trod upon

Without you by my side

As the moon hides

Under the morning sunlight

I shall open my eyes

Filled with yearnings

Of unbounded hopes

That our paths shall cross again

Only right and then, shall I

Release this sighs of love

A soft whisper of love eternal!

When such longings and dreams come true … some magical moments are created…good one!

**Resp:
Thank you Khusbo, you can say that... I'm a sentimental kind of gal who loves to listen to old sentimental songs. I find them more beautiful and more meaningful.
