We are currently seeking submissions of essays on the topic “How I Got My Book Published.” We want personal, practical stories about how a writer got their book published with a traditional publisher. We are seeking essays on a variety of types of books – fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, literary, academic, genre, etc. We will pay 10 cents a word for these essays, with a maximum of $65. Essays should not exceed 1,500 words. We are open to reprints, but payment will be half.
