As usual, we had too many submissions last month too, and could not accommodate them all. Many new writers continue to submit their work (especially poems) to the site without adequately checking it out. Please follow the rules properly.

We have one new writer who joined IWW community recently, and she is - Drishti Chauhan.

b) A prize of $6,000 is given annually for a book of poetry or a text from Zen Buddhism translated from an Asian language into English and published in the previous year. Publishers or translators may submit a book translated from Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Sanskrit, Tamil, Thai, or Vietnamese into English and published in 2020 by April 19. c) Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Sixfold are given quarterly for a group of poems and a short story. Using only the online submission system, submit up to five poems totaling no more than 10 pages or up to 20 pages of prose with a $5 entry fee by April 23. d) A prize of $1,500 and publication on the Ghost Story website is given twice yearly for a short story with a supernatural or magic realism theme. The winning work will also be published in the Ghost Story print anthology. The editors will judge. Submit a story of 1,500 to 10,000 words with a $20 entry fee by April 30. e) Two prizes of $3,000 each and publication on the Winning Writers website are given annually for a short story and an essay. Dennis Norris II will judge. f) Travel Writing Competition Our free-to-enter travel writing competition offers amateur writers the chance to have their work published in our online Library and shared widely within the Explorers Against Extinction community. The winning pieces will be recorded and be available online to download. The winning authors will each receive a trophy and £100 in book vouchers.
