I am an illustrator and happily also now a writer of children's books too.


My work is bright, funny, playful, quirky and I love the challenge of finding the just right image to go with a story, idea, or poem, whether it's my own work, or someone else's.

I also love making three-dimensional illustrations such as miniature scenes in matchboxes, then photographing them.

My usual way of working is with ink and watercolour, but I do sometimes use other mediums.
