Resolve of Life

by Fathima Shareef
(Doha, Qatar)

Makes one reflect
On the blinded resolve of life
To weather or wither
To move on or breach, with fairness or fervor
Entails and perceives one to retreat and return

Ever dawned on a flower
Blooming and enhancing,
For recourse of its specific
Yet adding aura and hue in others being
To gloom and whither at expiration….

Ever dawned on a bee
Buzzing and hovering,
For recourse of its specific
Filling its belly with golden drink
To humankind it’s a remedy for causes many….

Ever dawned on a river
Flowing and thrashing
For recourse of its specific
Emerging from hilltop and steering to the oceans
Aiding a diversity of living, all alike….

Undeniably the motive of life is not to be cheerful;
Honor, compassionate, and perseverance composed
Makes some difference that one have lived and displayed a life well lived.

Amazing words ! I love the phrase "Filling its belly with golden drink, To humankind it’s a remedy for causes many" and "Undeniably the motive of life is not to be cheerful;
Honor, compassionate, and perseverance composed
Makes some difference that one have lived and displayed a life well lived"
