My dear Brother,

Tell her, that you love her… Yes, to the girl whom you will be reluctantly marrying next month… And yes, to the same girl whom you fought with last night over a trivial issue… I know that your swollen eyes are not ant-bitten… Tell her, that you love her… You are unsure about it, are you? Do you need a reason to love her?

…when she’s ready to start a new life with you, letting go of everything which mattered to her, hold her hands, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when she wordlessly endures the barbs and jibes that every woman faces at her in-laws place, stand by her, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when she’s tired from a long day and longs to sleep, yet catches your hint and surrenders herself to you, embrace her, look into her eyes and say - ““I Love You”…

…when she wakes up in the morning with her hair messy, kajal all smeared, and eyes puffed up, give her a peck on her cheek, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when she cooks food for you standing in the heat of the kitchen, wipe the bead of sweat from her forehead, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when she catches you flirting, starts to feel insecure, but tries to brave it, hold her hand firmly, look into her eyes and say - ““I Love You”…

…when she has had a bad day, fought with you, and she’s really down... lift her chin, caress her tear stained cheeks, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when she delivered your baby, and is recovering from the worst ever pain a human could ever endure, massage her tired body, look into her eyes and say - ““I Love You”…

…when she just sat down and was about to drift away, and your baby cries, and wordlessly she gets ready to nurse her, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when your child is sick and she stays awake all night, yet manages to carry out the daily routine, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when your child gets married, and leaves your nest, sit by her, caress her wrinkled skin, tousle her grey hair, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…when you are unable to get up, and she manages to get hot water for you in spite of her knees groaning, look into her eyes and say - “I Love You”…

…If destiny decides to end her life before yours, look back into your life together and say - “I Love You”…

There need not be a reason to say “I Love You”, you will never know when it would be the last time… Still unsure? Let go of your ego to wait for her to talk first... Tell her, that you love her... She will love it...
