Desire

by Aruva
(Agartala, India)

I wish I would get back my childhood days,
Where I would be free of all strains.
From morning to noon, from noon to night,
I work with all my might

But now I want to be a kid,
When all my wishes would lead.
Oh! Give me, give me back my childhood days,
To make me free of all pains.
Oh! Come back, come back my childhood so lovely,
For you I am waiting so lonely.

This world of teenage is rusting,
Where every moment I have been testing.
Oh! Return back, return back my happiest days,
And pour upon me like the sun rays.

But now I know things once gone never returns,
So my present doesn’t much matters.
Living in the present and forgetting past,
Makes us a better youngster.
