Diary of A Broken Heart

by Shefali Patel
(Mumbai)

Mix sentiments is what I feel,
One minute I wish to peep,
the other, I hate to see.
I guilt!
This pain,will it ever end?

Two worlds ripped apart,
Think they saw paradise on the other side?
None to speak a word,
Yet drawn in darkness,in emptiness, in tears, in shame!
One of them, still hanging on the ledge,
No way to go,"Salty water is all I see",them one said.

All said and done,
Truth be told, priorities set on drama,
Left no one in peace.
Love is passionate and pure,
Or could be another word, I will never pronounce.
But it strengthens me,gives me power,
To believe on a brighter day,
to welcome a brighter morning!

a very very flat one..
by: Gungun Chatterjee

This poym is the finest example of how not to attempt to write one...a very very flat one,to me atleast. words come across lifeless.. passion is not enough, craft matters a lot when you expect others to read your disjointed sentences placed haphazardly in a rickety column..
