Drishyam 2 is a sequel of Drishyam movie released in 2013. It was the story of an accidental murder of a youth committed by a young girl (Ansiba), and her loving father George Kutty (Mohanlal) thought that he was able to save his family from it. His family consisted of his wife Rani (Meena) and two daughters Anju and Anu. (Ansiba and Esther Anil).

In Drishyam 2, the investigation which George Kutty pretended has ended, comes up again after a gap of 6 years which naturally pressurises the family to live again in trauma. They are haunted by the possibility of being found guilty of the crime which they have been successfully covering up all these years. He goes to great lengths to cover up the entire thing so that his daughter’s future will not be affected. Georgekutty is aware that his family members are under the constant watch of the cops, under the guidance of IG Thomas Bastin (Murali Gopy) to unveil the mystery behind the murder. The youth who was murdered was the only son of his former colleague Geeta Prabhakar (Asha Sharath) and Prabhakar (Siddhique). Geetha Prabhakar craves for revenge. George kutty is a successful businessman as a cable operator and the owner of a theatre. His neighbours were jealous of him and try to spy on him to help the cops. With all these challenges before them, will Georgekutty, be able to protect his family from the possibility of going to jail? The story is so unpredictable with a jaw dropping climax.

It is a gripping tale of intelligence and a brilliant thriller movie at its best.
