Oh my dearest, you are the one I love

Each beautiful memory of love, to you I owe

The first time we met, I remember, I fell for your dazzling smile,
But then I had no idea, we would come together for such a long mile.

Your mannerisms, your etiquettes, your gentleness, slowly won me over,
You instilled those feelings in my mind, that I had felt never ever.

In you I found that special one, with whom everything I could share,
Being with you the world would blur out, about nothing would I care.

Your smallest of actions, smallest of gestures, your smallest of things,
Showed me, you too reciprocated my feelings.

I don’t know how the thread that bound us, the delicate thread of friendship and hope,
Transformed into the solid bond of true love, a very tight rope.

Your unending care for me, the immeasurable love you shower,
You make me feel so loved, I feel like a delicate flower.

Now you are my strength as well as weakness, you helped me overcome my fears,
With you in my life, there is no place for tears.

You will always be there for me, come what may, I am sure,
Cuddling in your arms makes me feel so secure.
