Random Notes From a Lover

The everything in nothingness : Love

The everything in nothingness : Love

Of a thousand reflexes
this one haunts me the most:
the ability to feel
and the tingling sensation
on my skin
when you touch my hand

________________

The burning candle
doesn't burn as quickly
as me
at both ends
when your eyes perpetually stare
at me

________________

From the summer afternoon
you brought me countless
sun shines
and from the waterlogged streets
this monsoon
I'm looking to see what you'll get

_______________

As we travel in the bus
you and I
I can just look at you
and marvel at the sky
and subconsciously think of the smile
at the edge of your lips

As I sip my morning tea, reading your poem diffuses a delightful taste to the golden brown beverage. Wonderful!

Thank you Vimala. I'm in awe of you being married for 52 long years. Love the companionship example you've set for us all.
