Generally, this vegetable (Shepu,Sua) is not liked by many people. But I came across a very interesting recipe which my grandmother used to make and I would like to share it with all of you. Try it and I will be waiting for your comments.
½ Bowl chopped Shepu
½ Bowl Chana daal (soaked in water overnight & drained properly).
Small piece of Ginger.
3-4 green chillies.
1 Table spoon Cumin seeds.
Salt as per taste.
Red chillie powder as per taste.
Oil for frying.Method of preparation:
In a Mixer grind Cumin seeds,ginger and green chillies.Then add finely chopped Shepu and soaked Chana Daal.Grind it coarsely.
Take out the mixture in a bowl.Add salt & red chillie powder as per taste. Mix well
Heat oil in a pan. Put a spoonful of it in the mixture. Mix well.
Make small balls out of the mixture and fry on a low flame.
Serve hot with chutney.
