Sushant, Wish You Were Alive

The sky is so blue, the air is so fragrant, I can hear the sound of nature, exclaimed Sushant. Few moments later an Angel appeared. Sushant asked, where am I?

You are at introspect junction on your way to heaven.
Introspect junction! exclaimed Sushant.
Yes, Sushant, answered the Angel.
Please provide your biometrics to access the introspect portal.
The home screen flashed a bright light with description Actor, Dancer, Television personality, an Entrepreneur and a Philanthropist. Wow, you are talented, exclaimed the Angel.
This is all meaningless Angel, I am so lonely, I am depressed… I have so many problems that took a toll.
Really? the Angel laughed.
Sushant annoyedly asked, “What is there to laugh about? you will never understand.”
Angel replied, I am sorry if I hurt you dear Sushant, but can I ask you few questions.
“Yes, sure” said Sushant.
Angel: Do you recognize the hardships and efforts that parents face in bringing up a child?
Sushant: Yes
Angel: Did you ever think of the purpose of your life?
Sushant: No
Angel: Did you easily get affected by others?
Sushant: Yes
Angel: Did your happiness depend on others’ acknowledgements?
Sushant: Yes
I am not here to decide if your answers are correct or incorrect. But I am here to ensure that you introspect. I wish you could have trusted yourself and took charge of yourself. Had you mustered the courage to fight yourself, you would have been enjoying the blessing called Life. Life is not about being happy always. It is more about conquering one’s shortcomings, facing defeats and continuously working to convert them in victory.
Angel added further, If I compare Life with Nuclear Reaction then that would be appropriate. An uncontrolled Nuclear fission reaction leads to explosive energy release that has the capability to destroy the world. Similarly, when we lose control and allow our brain to take control of “self” due to a lack of self-belief and self-awareness number of brain chemicals fiddle around and make a mockery of our decision-making capability thus prompting us to take dreadful decisions.
Angel continued, “You were a teen sensation, a youth icon, your family’s hope, your country’s pride. Did you have the right to let your brain take charge of you? And why did not you check your brain’s misadventure by speaking to someone or seeking help? How did you allow yourself to succumb to a mental illness?”
We are blessed with life to keep the circle of life going hence, we should take charge of self and be useful. Even the heart beat goes up and down which signifies we are alive. So, is life. Ups and downs signify the various life experiences. These life experiences carve, cast and shape us to become our true self and realize the purpose of our lives so that we can benefit our family, society, nation and the world.
Lord Krishna says in the Bhagavad-gita that the mind can be controlled by constant "practice and detachment."(—Bhagavad-gita, 6.35). He says that wherever and whenever the mind wanders, due to its flickering and unsteady nature, we must bring it back under the control of the Self (—Bhagavad-gita, 6.26).
Sushant, the vacuum created by your loss can never be filled and your repentance cannot undo the action you took but I wish your introspection helps other have self-belief and take control of their mind.
