The Sunset

by Sneha Subramanian Kanta
(Mumbai, India)

The sunset this evening
looks a little different
with the horizon seeming
far away
and more distant than it is
the orange hues spluttered across
the sky
look inviting
as though it wants me to sink into the deep blue waters of time

and meet me at the other end of the rainbow
where life is entirely another thing

Thank You
by: Sneha

Dear Vimala, Thank you so much. I know why you like sunsets - because there's your favorite music program that's aired at that time, isn't it?

Dear Isabel, thank you so much. Had been missing your comments on my poems. It's great to hear from you.

Dear Pankaja, It's lovely to hear from you... I am in awe of your writing right from the time I read your take on Tagore in MI.
