Solang Valley

From the very beginning I love to explore different places & my journey to Himachal made me fall in love with my this love. Himachal - The place which have just stolen my heart.

Our journey started from Chandigarh & brought us to our first stoppage which was Mandi, a town in Himachal also known as choti kashi. Our purpose to visit Mandi was just to be at the Guru Gobind Singh Gurudwara as it is said that Guru's bed is still preserved there. We stayed a night there only at the Gurudwara. Mornings in Himachal were totally different. That calm breeze, chirping sound of birds, relaxing sound of flowing river gives ultimate peace.

From there we moved on for Kasol (The mini Israel of India). The time we reached Kasol it was having slight snowfall there. That coolness, snowfall, coniferous forest, mountain streams, frothing Parvati river........What else a nature lover could need. The place itself can be referred as a ""Stress Stealer"". The night time here was just like we were in a magical world......Dark Sky, Twinkling Stars & that mesmerizing beauty all around is just beyond words.

After a night we moved to Manikaran (The Place of Pious Hot Springs).
Manikaran (Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh) 4 KM ahead of Kasol. Manikaran, A place of religious beliefs & has the pious hot water springs. It is said that Gurunanak Dev Ji cooked food as parsada for the people in this hot water spring & taking dips in this pious hot water springs can heal everyone from any kinda sufferings & can kill all evils from within us.

This was mostly about religious beliefs and that calmness & after that we moved for our adventures part, Manali (The Perfect Place).
Manali directly calls up for thrilling adventurous activities & it started with River Rafting. River Rafting (Life Saving Jackets) & a bit a fearness. The way our rafts with double-bladed paddles was swinging with that pressure of water flow in that river & the fear of getting hit by those rocks & the moment when the quantum of that icy water get splased all over our body made us shiver. This thrill should be practically experienced. This was the second best experience of Himachal. Let me tell you the best one.

The best moment we had in Solang Valley. The place where we all were surrounded with ice. It just felt like we were in heaven. Those beautiful snow capped mountains, clean blue skies & those ropeways, Zorbing, Paragliding & Skiing. It seemed to be like all of my things at a single place.

Himachal tends to be a paradise for me. Waterfalls, Snow topped mountains, forests, chirping sounds, the dark nights, those adventurous activities were just ineffable.
