My Mentor and I

by Tanuja Chatterjee
(Kolkata, India)

My mentor and I
In timeless space
Together we stand
In karmic grace.

It isn’t a dream
Or a forbidden view
With no one in sight
Whom once I knew.

I feel no fear
I feel no pain
In empty loneliness
It’s “HIM” I gain.

That coward within
Peeps to steal a sight
To draw the strength
From his spirit’s delight.

He touches the soul
Embraces the past.
Takes all the blues
Of innocence lost.

Once more, I reclaim my life
And vow to shine through
I frame my life, with my spirit’s spark
Build my credit to smile through.

My mentor be my witness
I can touch the sky
With future in my power
Won’t let my grace dry.

Beautiful...almost gives a sense of vastness and immortality! That's how art is - immortal!

Dearest Ja...
by: isabel

Your poem made me hold on to hope with renewed energy... It awakened the sleeping fire within this mortal body that lagged on thru the drudgery of life. Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring poem... Miss you and take care always.

Sincerely,
Isabel

Very inspiring! At a time when I needed it the most.
