With eyes that claimed deceit
Howbeit to her heart it deemed fit?
She spurned to hold on to
Her rakish Romeo.
To chant a new tune
When autumn embarked
She traced the beauty of abdication
To let go off the vintage
To make way for
The cutting-edge
