Solitude

by Preetham Kopparam
(Gauribidanur, Karnataka)

Lonely hearts with mighty soul
with secret desires of worldly pleasure
painted face pretending bliss
imploded within the confined egos
are the living tragic shadows.

Safe of iron, diamond studded
does it worth of what its measured?
No matter how precious, perfect, adorned
void lies the space within
renders the treasure an empty bin.

Blues and Hues
by: Anita

Life is colourful and happy yet we experience the blues and feel empty. Good effort.
